Our Goals

Our mission is to assist our parish members and the people of God to grow in their Christian lives and reach out to our brothers and sisters by sharing our faith, gifts, talents, and material resources with one another.

Our Beliefs

Most Holy Name Parish is a community which shares a common faith and seeks to hear and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. As an urban community, we have a rich diversity of ethnic backgrounds. We are committed to building a united Catholic Christian community. We are a worshiping community centered around the Eucharist. Through our celebration of the sacraments and our prayers, we are continually called to transform our lives and follow Christ.

Get Connected

Places to connect with others

We are all created by God to connect with others. No matter where you are on your spiritual path, connecting with others in community is an absolute necessity. We need the love, support and encouragement of a community of people who are committed to travel along the road of faith. Ultimately, we need each other, because "because big changes in life happen in community."

In Most Holy Name Church we are a family. If your family is a person, or ten you will find a place that our goal is to connect people! We celebrate, pray, learn, sing, share, work, serve, and we gather in community. We look for others and try to provide companionship and support in the way of our life with Christ.

The best places to connect are in small groups. Sunday Study Groups for adults, students and children serve as small groups. Volunteering to serve is another way to connect. Browse our events calendar or newsletter to see everything that is happening in our parish, and be sure to contact us if you have any questions. If you are unsure where to start, join us in our Sunday Mass, or visit the Parish Center.

Together we can practice what it means to be a community of forgiveness, generosity and grace. Help in difficult times and rejoicing in times of joy.

Faith, friends and joy!
